WE ARE ON A MISSION

Welcome to the First Peak Project. This website is the platform for the surfing community to come together and help restore an epic wave; First Peak at Sebastian Inlet Florida. Throughout the world, the surfing community goes to great lengths to protect surfing waves, and we must continue to protect our precious waves.

But what about a lost wave?

First Peak was once the epicenter of surfing on the east coast, and according to SURFER Magazine, the wave generated more champion surfers than perhaps any other spot. Unfortunately, an early 21st-century jetty rehabilitation diminished the wave reflection and accidentally ruined the famous wedge.

Today, with the new wave technology from the surf pool industry we have the knowledge and skills to bring back the reflection and restore First Peak. Explore the website to learn more about this unique opportunity and how you can contribute. With your support, we can bring back First Peak.

Let’s make something truly historic happen.
