It takes a village to restore a surfing wave.
When you think about the broad spectrum of knowledge and expertise required to restore a surfing wave, it’s daunting. Economic feasibility studies, detailed structural engineering work, meteorology, ecological surveys, and sand management are just some examples that highlight the topics covered by our project. Therefore strategic partnerships are mission critical to the success of the FPP. Over the course of the project, we’re looking forward to forming great working relationships with academic partners, technology partners, surf industry partners, other like-minded non-profits, and even those surf pool folks.
