Everyone should donate to a cause that captures their passion.
It’s a blessing that non-profit companies exist. Through non-profit charities, many organizations are changing the world and making it a better place. Surfing waves also make the world a better place. We believe the restoration of First Peak belongs on the list of ways a non-profit company can help to strength a community. Surfing waves create jobs; they ignite careers, and they enliven a deeper relationship with the ocean. If you agree with us, please join our grassroots movement and donate today.
The First Peak Project is driven by community donations.
While surfing our website, you’ll notice that you don’t see any advertising. You won’t find us trying to sell you anything. There are no retail products. There’s no online store. The reason for this is that we want to keep the First Peak Project a community grassroots project. If we raise money through selling advertisements or products, this poorly represents the voice of our cause. We believe that a small group of people selling stuff does not speak for the community. The community is the voice of our cause, and you are part of that voice. Through donating and supporting the First Peak Project, the community can voice their support and desire to restore the peak.
Your donation is a direct measure of how much you want to restore First Peak.
The First Peak Project is a platform for the surfing community to express how much that surfing wave meant to us and how much we would love to see it restored. Donations reflect how passionate people are for a project’s success. Therefore, the best way to quantify the community’s desire to restore First Peak is through the sum of donations. Donate to show us how much you’d like to see First Peak brought back.

Frequently asked questions about donating to the First Peak Project
Where does my donation money go?
Primarily, your donations will go towards funding our awareness campaign. Now that this website is up and running, it’s going to accumulate significant maintenance costs. We also need to attend conferences to form partnerships with organizations such as NOAA, Fish & Wildlife, US Army Corps of Engineers, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, National Marine Fisheries Service, and the Sebastian Inlet Tax District. Supplying these entities with the best solutions for restoring First Peak using cutting-edge technology requires resources. We’re ready to invest our time and expertise into the project if you’re willing to help support the cause.
What is the First Peak Project’s funding goal?
Your donation is a direct reflection of how much you would like to see First Peak restored. If we only raise a couple of grand, this project won’t get off the ground, and First Peak will always remain an urban legend. The total community contribution to our project is the measurement of how much we want to see First Peak restored. How much is restoring First Peak worth to you?
